PVC offers 30 minute private and semi-private lesson to members and non-members. This class provides special attention to the individual needs of the participants. Our instructors take the time to set goals and develop the participant in water safety. Classes are scheduled with 1 - 2 participants at the same level.
Swim Lesson Levels: Sessions are 30 minutes in length. Participants can choose from a single session or a package of 4 sessions.
TOT: Instructor emphasis is on water adjustment, submersion and floating. Jumping in and climbing out with little to no assistance.
Beginner 1: Instructor emphasis is on front float, back float, kicking, arm strokes, goal is for participant to swim width of pool. Pool safety introduction.
Beginner 2: Instructor emphasis is on front float, back float, kicking, arm strokes, goal is for participant to swim width of pool with proper breathing and use of swim strokes. introduction to diving into the pool.
Advanced Beginner: Instructor emphasis is on additional stroke refinement including, backstroke, freestyle and breaststroke. Introduction to advance level swim techniques & diving.
Intermediate Swimmer: Instructor emphasis is on advanced stroke work including butterfly, sidestroke and rescue skills.

Late Arrival to a Scheduled Swim Lesson
Swim lesson will be provided in the time remaining as long as there is at least 10 minutes left in the lesson time otherwise see "missed lesson without 24 hour prior notification".
Missed Swim Lesson with 24 Hour Prior Notification
PVC will reschedule any missed swim lesson at no-charge, if pool manager is notified through email 24 hours before the start of the scheduled lesson. The assigned instructor may not be available for the rescheduled lesson.
Missed Lesson without 24 Hour Prior Notification
Participant will forfeit swim lesson and associated fees for missed swim lessons.
