Job Title: Pool Manager  

Position Description:
The Pool Manager is a seasonal position with PVC, and is required to  hold a current Lifeguard Certification with Red Cross or comparable  organization. The Pool Manager is responsible for the selection, hiring,  and managing of the lifeguard staff, and overseeing  that the club is clean, safe, and that issues concerning the facility  maintenance or supplies are communicated to the Business Manager for  redress. This includes the operational management of the lifeguards,  equipment of the club as it relates to the health  and safety of the members, and the day-to-day operations of swim  lessons and staffing of lifeguards during the season. This position will  work closely with PVC’s business manager.    

Classification: Part-time, non-benefited
Wage: $1,200 per month from on or around April 1 to October 31 not to  exceed $8,400. This is a seasonal position and assumes that the position  will require approximately 10 to 20 hours per week on average. Tasks  outside this scope may be requested at times,  as you are available, which may include emergencies or special  circumstances related to the position for the club including weekends  and major holidays during the season.  

Schedule: 
Approximately 10-20 hours per week, or as needed from  approximately April 1, through October 31, 2025. Should maintain a  presence at the pool a majority of the busy times.

Benefit:
PVC will compensate the pool manager position a yearly membership to PVC for as long as you are employed at PVC. 

Required Certifications: 

  * CPR/First Aid with the Red Cross or Comparable Organization

  * Lifeguard Certification with the Red Cross or Comparable Organization  

Start Date: Upon the following 

PVC will be conducting interviews of interested candidates at a time and  date to be determined. Upon final selection, you may begin employment  once you have completed and submitted the following forms to our  Business Manager. 

  * Completed I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification Form.

  * Completed W-4 form

  * CPR/First Aid with the Red Cross or Comparable Organization

  * Lifeguard Certification with the Red Cross or Comparable Organization

  * Background clearance check as required for youth organizations.
